15A NCAC 18C .0503      OTHER DESIGN STANDARDS

In evaluating public water systems or water system design features, in addition to the rules in this Subchapter, the Department shall consider standards from the American Water Works Association or Recommended Standards for Water Works – Policies for the Review and Approval of Plans and Specifications for Public Water Supplies by the Great Lakes – Upper Mississippi River Board of State and Provincial Public Health and Environmental Managers which are incorporated by reference, including any subsequent amendments and editions. Copies of the American Water Works Association standards may be obtained from the American Water Works Association, 6666 W. Quincy Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80235 with costs determined by the American Water Works Association and available at www.awwa.org/Publications/Standards. Copies of the Recommended Standards for Water Works may be obtained from the Minnesota Department of Administration available at https://www.mnbookstore.com/other/miscellaneous-state-agency-products/miscellaneous/recommended-standards-water-14349.html and for a cost of nineteen dollars and ninety-five cents ($19.95).
